Novant Health mobile mammogram unit to visit campus

The Novant Health Breast Center mobile unit will be on campus from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center North Lot.

Please contact 704-384-7226 to schedule your appointment. Per Novant Health, screening mammograms are covered as preventive care under most insurance plans and Medicare. For your convenience, Novant will file a claim with your provider on your behalf.

If your last mammogram was not at a Novant Health facility, you can still receive a mammogram at Novant’s mobile unit. The Novant team will contact your previous provider to obtain films from your most recent mammogram. Past results are necessary to ensure that no changes have occurred in your breast health.
