Maria Sanchez

Maria is responsible for Disability, Educational leave, Faculty leave, Military leave, ORP -3 Separations, Personal leave, Leave without pay, and Benefits billing.

Maria joined UNC Charlotte after retiring with a 20-year career in Health and Social Services in 2020. She received Human Resources Certificate from UNC Charlotte and is currently enrolled in the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program through the International Foundation of Employee Benefits and Wharton University.

Maria enjoys traveling, visiting family and friends, and just being outdoors. Most weekends she could be found cheering on her favorite NASCAR teams, especially the ones her children work for.
