Alexandria (Alex) Flippins

Alex serves as the director of talent acquisition & compliance and is the primary point of contact for EHRA/SHRA permanent/temporary staff, and student employee recruitment and selection. In addition, she serves as the primary point of contact for the management of EHRA/SHRA, temporary staff, and student employment compliance programs.

Alex joined UNC Charlotte in June of 2023. Alex has worked in human resources, specifically recruitment and selection for over 10 years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in human resource management from Winthrop University and a master’s degree in human resources from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Alex loves spending time with her husband, three children, and dog. She also enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
