Rachel Pierson-Bonin

Rachel is a Compensation Consultant and handles EHRA-NF position managment and compensation actions.

Rachel joined UNC Charlotte in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Colby-Sawyer College and a master’s degree in Public Administration from UNC Charlotte (’20). She began her HR career as a temporary employee on the HR Employment team, and moved into a permanent role as an Employment Consultant the same year. In May 2022, Rachel transitioned to the Staff Position, Employment & Performance Management team as a Compensation and Position Management Consultant. She received her PHR certification in May 2018.

Rachel is originally from Vermont. She and her husband Dave have one daughter, Charlotte. Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, being on the water, working out, and being part of the UNC Charlotte community.
